Immediate Supervisor: Project Manager
Department: Projects
Location: Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the implementation of the approved business plan and all conditions set forth in the grant documents for the assigned project.
1. Assists in field-related finance and administrative matters, including the submission ofcompliance reports to donors and partners.
2. Acts a lead in some research/surveys undertaken in the community of the assigned project,results of which will be used by concerned external parties.
3. Takes the lead in conducting training activities for the community.
4. Responsible for the formulation and implementation of site-specific action plans for theassigned project.
5. Coordinates with concerned personnel, local partners and stakeholders in the planningand implementation ensuring that project activities are aligned with the commissionedactivities of external parties.
6. Works with the GIS unit in mapping works required for effective implementation of theassigned project/s.
7. Prepares reports and documentation to be submitted to concerned users in a timelymanner.
8. In coordination with the Project Manager and partner scientists, prepares publishabletechnical/scientific reports and papers regarding project intervention results.
Internal: Within WWF Philippines, reports to the Project Manager, and expected to work with consultants, business managers and other units.
External: Government officials, government agencies, academic institutions, community leaders and members, other NGOs and the private sector.

✓ Technical and Financial reports as may be required by WWF-Philippines, partners and donors
Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Social Science related course
Work Experience: At least five (5) years relevant experience in project management and other field related to the assigned project
