This video is about the Climate Change Adaptation project in the municipality of Sablayan, province of Mindoro, in the Philippines. It describes the process followed to develop Sablayan’s adaptation plan. Designed for an audience interested in learning more about climate change in general and adaptation in particular, the video answers the question, “What is climate change and what can we do in our municipality to prepare for it?” Climate change adaptation is still an evolving technology, and adaptation plans should be developed according to the hazards and needs particular to an area. WWF-Philippines plans to assist more municipalities in developing their adaptation plans, and hopes that this video would help other communities prepare for possible impacts of climate change.
